In the Oak Tree Inn Late Model feature, Brian Lowery was the man to beat. Matt Emerick would do everything he could throughout the evening, starting at the number six position, but Emerick would finish second behind Lowery. Emerick, Robbie Black and Barry Miller would take turns in the second, third and fourth positions, but the leader of the pack was Lowery - who handled the track and set the standard for victory.
George Hilliard and Donnie Hedge also challenged the middle, but Hedge would be out in the 17th with blue smoke rolling, saying goodbye to that motor.
This victory of Lowery's was his first after a year and a half hiatus from racing, taking home the $600 prize. Emerick and Black are both eager to come back again to The Rock to earn their first wins this season.
The top ten finishers in the Oak Tree In LM division were: Lowery, Emerick, Black, Barry Miller, Darryl Burkholder, Kevin Weyandt, Randy Burkholder, George Hilliard and Donnie Hedge.
Taking the LM heats were: first - Black and Lowery; second - Hedge and Emerick; third - Darryl Burkholder and Hilliard.
